     Commander Hon. Sereld Mordaunt Alan Josslyn Hay was born in November 1877.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Charles Gore Hay, 20th Earl of Erroll and Mary Caroline L'Estrange.¹ He married Violet Spiller, daughter of Lt.-Col. Duncan Chisholm Oliver Spiller and Matilda Lucy Stirling, on 26 April 1915.¹ He died on 12 November 1939, without issue.¹
     He gained the rank of Commander-Instructor in 1913 in the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve, South African Division.¹ He was Assistant N.T.O. between 1914 and 1915 at Cape Town, Cape Province, South Africa^G.¹ He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1919.¹

     He held the office of Page of Honour to HM Queen Victoria.¹ He held the office of Page of Honour to HM King Edward VII.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Reserve 5th Lancers.¹ He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1932.¹

     Her married name became Hay.

     Francis George Burroughes was born on 5 November 1868 at Hoveton, Norfolk, England.² He is the son of Reverend Randall Burroughes and Hon. Emily Harbord.^3,2 He married Anne Kathleen Julia Bourke, daughter of Major Hon. Edward Roden Bourke and Emma Mary Augusta Hatch, on 1 August 1894.³
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 4th Battalion, Bedfordshire Regiment.² He lived at Friary Farm, Blakeney, Holt, Norfolk, England^G.¹

Ivan Josslyn Lumley Hay and Pamela Burroughes.¹ She married Jeremy Christopher Gurney, son of Christopher Gurney, on 20 October 1945.¹ She and Jeremy Christopher Gurney were divorced in 1970.¹ She died in 2005 at Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.²

     Jeremy Christopher Gurney is the son of Christopher Gurney.¹ He married Elizabeth Anne Hay, daughter of Hon. Ivan Josslyn Lumley Hay and Pamela Burroughes, on 20 October 1945.¹ He and Elizabeth Anne Hay were divorced in 1970.¹
