     Lachlan Mackintosh, 19th of Mackintosh was the son of William Mackintosh, 18th of Mackintosh and Margaret Graham.2 He married, firstly, Magdalene Lindsay, daughter of John Lindsay, 6th of Edzell and Lady Jean Carnegie.1 He married, secondly, Anne Munro, daughter of General Sir George Munro of Newmore and Culrain and Anne Munro.1 He died on 9 December 1704.1
     He held the position of 20th Chief of the Clan Chattan from in 1660.1 On 20 September 1665 a peace was finally signed between the Mackintoshes and Camerons of Lochiel owing to the mediation of Breadalbane, and a feud that had lasted for 300 years brought to an end.1 He was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Court in August 1672.1 In 1680 a position to which Macphers of Cluny had laid claim and matric arms at the LO.1 He fought in the Battle of Mulroy in 1688, against the Macdonalds, the last clan battle fought between highlanders.1 He lived at Torcastle, ScotlandG.1

Duncan Alexander Eliot Mackintosh, 31st Chief of Clan Chattan1

     Duncan Alexander Eliot Mackintosh, 31st Chief of Clan Chattan was born on 1 December 1884.2 He was the son of Alexander Mackintosh and Annie Berkeley.1 He married Ellen Primrose Smith, daughter of Frederick Smith, on 8 September 1912.2 He died on 29 May 1966 at age 81.2
     He was educated at Bedford Modern School, Bedford, Bedfordshire, England.2 He fought in the Boer War between 1900 and 1902.2 He was with Rhodesian Mounted Police for 14 years.2 He was a farmer at Zimbabwe.2 He held the position of 31st Chief of the Clan Chattan from in 1942.2 He was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Court on 9 April 1947.2

     Charlotte MacLeod is the daughter of Alexander MacLeod of Dalvey.1 She married Alexander Mackintosh, 26th of Mackintosh, son of Angus Mackintosh, 25th of Mackintosh and Mary Archange Baudry dit Desbuttes dit Saint-Martin, on 18 October 1842.1
     From 18 October 1842, her married name became Mackintosh.1
