     He lived at Doveridge Hall, Derbyshire, EnglandG.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1

     He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the 15th/19th The King's Royal Hussars, Royal Armoured Corps.1
