     He was also known as William Chalmers.³ Circa 1535 Jane, born , buried 22 May 1567).¹ He lived at The Parsonage, Great Gaddesden, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹

     Alice (?) married William Halsey, son of John Halsey.¹ She died from 28 August 1557 to 2 December 1557.¹
     Her married name became Halsey.

     William Halsey was born circa 1514.¹ He was the son of William Halsey and Alice (?)² He married Ann (?) circa 1545.¹ He died circa 13 May 1596.¹ He was buried on 16 May 1596.¹
     He was also known as William Chambers.¹ He lived at The Parsonage, Great Gaddesden, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹ He also had seven younger sons and four daughters.¹

     Ann (?) married, firstly, William Halsey, son of William Halsey and Alice (?), circa 1545.¹ She married, secondly, Roger Baldwin on 5 May 1600.¹ She died between 13 September 1608 and 16 August 1609.¹
     From circa 1545, her married name became Halsey. From 5 May 1600, her married name became Baldwin.¹

     Robert Halsey was born circa 1552.¹ He was the son of William Halsey and Ann (?)² He married Dorothy Downes, daughter of William Downes, circa 1573.¹ He died circa 9 October 1618.¹ He was buried on 12 October 1618.¹
     He lived at Great Gaddesden, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹ He also had three younger daughters (who all died young and/or unmarried.)¹

     William Downes lived at Linslade, Buckinghamshire, England^G.¹

     Dorothy Downes was the daughter of William Downes.² She married Robert Halsey, son of William Halsey and Ann (?), circa 1573.¹ She died circa 20 September 1620.¹ She was buried on 23 September 1620.¹
     From circa 1573, her married name became Halsey.

     William Halsey was baptised on 13 January 1575/76.¹ He was the son of Robert Halsey and Dorothy Downes.² He married Lettice Stringer, daughter of Henry Stringer.¹ He died in November 1637 at age 61.¹
     He lived at Great Gaddesden, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹
