     He succeeded as the 14th Baronet Grant, of Dalvey [N.S., 1688] on 25 March 1961.¹ He was educated in 1961 at St. Conleth's College, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.² He was educated at The Abbey School, Fort Augustus, Inverness-shire, Scotland^G.² He graduated from Glasgow University, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland^G, in 1981 with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.)² He was founder and managing director of Grants of Dalvey Ltd in 1988.² He lived in 2003 at Tomintoul House, Flichity, Farr, Inverness-shire, Scotland^G.²
