Reverend Ernest Edward Egremont Heathcote was born on 17 February 1858.1 He was the son of Reverend Samuel John Heathcote and Mary Sidney Smith.2 He married Clare Europa Townley Parker, daughter of Captain Frederick Townley Parker, in 1893.1 He died on 28 July 1936 at age 78.1
