Edmond Alec Forestier-Walker was born on 4 September 1888.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Edmond Somerville Forestier Walker and Ellen Mary Camilla Fenton.2 He married Eileen de Renzy Channer, daughter of Colonel Osborne Henry Channer, on 7 July 1921.1 He died on 9 October 1952 at age 64.1
He was given the name of Edmond Alec Walker at birth.1 He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 In 1909 his name was legally changed to Edmond Alec Forestier-Walker.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Cheshire Regiment.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in dispatches.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Royal Tank Corps.1
