     Emanuel Downing was baptised on 12 August 1585 at St. Lawrence, Ipswich, Suffolk, EnglandG.2 He was the son of George Downing.2 He married, firstly, Anne Ware, daughter of Sir James Ware and Mary Bryden.1 He married, secondly, Lucy Winthrop, daughter of Adam Winthrop and Anne Browne, on 10 April 1622 at Groton, Suffolk, EnglandG.2 He died after November 1660.2

     David John Wyldbore Floyd was born on 12 November 1929.1 He is the son of Sir John Duckett Floyd, 6th Bt. and Jocelin Evadne Wyldbore-Smith.2
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the 15th/19th King's Royal Hussars.1 On 9 December 1949 at GermanyG accidentally on killed on service.1

     He lived at Coombe Place, Lewes, Sussex, EnglandG.1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) on 1 January 1957.1

     Victoria Jane Cannon is the daughter of Richard Nevill Cannon and Lelia Farmar.2,3 She married, firstly, John Edmund Kincaid Floyd, son of Sir John Duckett Floyd, 6th Bt. and Jocelin Evadne Wyldbore-Smith, on 27 January 1965.1 She and John Edmund Kincaid Floyd were divorced in 1978.1 She married, secondly, Bryan Norman after 1978.1
     From 27 January 1965, her married name became Floyd. From after 1978, her married name became Norman.1
