     Gilbert Eliott was the son of Sir William Eliott of Stobs, 6th Bt. and Mary Russell.² He married Isabella Lucy Elliot, daughter of Reverend Robert Elliot and Mary Garforth, on 21 April 1830.¹ He died on 30 June 1871.¹
     He held the office of Speaker of the House of Assembly [Queensland].¹

     Reverend Robert Elliot was born on 4 April 1755.² He was the son of Rt. Hon. Sir Gilbert Elliot of Minto, 3rd Bt. and Agnes Dalrymple-Murray-Kynynmound.² He married Mary Garforth, daughter of Reverend Edmund Garforth, on 9 April 1788.² He died in 1824.²
     He was the Rector at Wheldrake, Yorkshire, England.² He was the Vicar at Askham, Yorkshire, England^G.¹

     He was a police magistrate.²

     Thomas Thomson was born on 14 August 1794 at Dysart, Fife, Scotland.² He married Eliza Reibey, daughter of Thomas Reibey and Molly Haydock, on 20 November 1821 at Hobart, Tasmania, Australia.² He died on 11 July 1844 at age 49 at Launceston, Tasmania, Australia.²
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Marines.² He was an assistant treasurer in 1823 at Tasmania, Australia.² He was Collector of Customs in 1827.²

     Jane Penelope Thomson was born on 27 June 1829 at Launceston, Tasmania, Australia.² She was the daughter of Thomas Thomson and Eliza Reibey.^3,2 She was baptised on 22 September 1829 at Tasmania, Australia.² She married Gilbert William Eliott, son of Gilbert Eliott and Isabella Lucy Elliot, on 19 October 1854 at Launceston, Tasmania, Australia.^1,2 She died on 18 February 1919 at age 89 at Queensland, Australia.^1,2
     From 1854, her married name became Eliott.

     Gilbert Francis Eliott was born on 18 May 1859.¹ He was the son of Gilbert William Eliott and Jane Penelope Thomson.² He married Emily Kate Palmer, daughter of W. H. Palmer, on 12 July 1887.¹ He died on 24 December 1943 at age 84.¹
     He was registered as a Civil Engineer (C.E.)¹

     Emily Kate Palmer was the daughter of W. H. Palmer.² She married Gilbert Francis Eliott, son of Gilbert William Eliott and Jane Penelope Thomson, on 12 July 1887.¹ She died on 22 August 1936.¹
     From 12 July 1887, her married name became Eliott.

     Keith Archer Eliott was born on 2 January 1890.¹ He was the son of Gilbert Francis Eliott and Emily Kate Palmer.² He married Beatrice Markey, daughter of Alfred Markey, on 16 August 1919.¹ He died on 21 May 1937 at age 47, without issue.¹
