     Hon. Ellen Rice was the daughter of Francis William Rice, 5th Baron Dynevor of Dynevor and Harriet Ives Barker.² She married Reverend James Gerald Joyce on 20 September 1855.¹ She died on 21 May 1924.¹
     She was appointed Lady of Grace, Order of St. John of Jerusalem (L.G.St.J.)¹ From 20 September 1855, her married name became Joyce. She was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1920.¹

     Reverend James Gerald Joyce married Hon. Ellen Rice, daughter of Francis William Rice, 5th Baron Dynevor of Dynevor and Harriet Ives Barker, on 20 September 1855.¹ He died on 28 June 1878.
     He was Rector at Stratfield Saye, Berkshire, England.¹ He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹

     From 10 November 1887, her married name became Talbot Rice.

     Francis Edmund Talbot Rice was born on 30 December 1889.¹ He was the son of Rev. Hon. William Talbot Rice and Marian Gurney.² He died on 2 February 1890.¹
