Anne Dorothea Foster was born circa 1774.¹ She was the daughter of John Foster, 1st Baron Oriel of Ferrard and Margarita Amelia Burgh, Viscountess Ferrard.² She married James Stevenson Blackwood, 2nd Baron Dufferin and Claneboye, son of Sir John Blackwood, 2nd Bt. and Dorcas Stevenson, Baroness Dufferin and Claneboye, on 15 November 1801.¹ She died on 28 March 1865.¹
     From 15 November 1801, her married name became Blackwood. After her marriage, Hon. Anne Dorothea Foster was styled as Baroness Dufferin and Clandeboye on 8 February 1807.
