     Venerable William Maunsell was born on 1 October 1729.2 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Thomas Maunsell and Anna Twigg.2 He married, firstly, Jane Deborah Wrather Foster, daughter of Reverend William Foster, in 1758.2 He married, secondly, Lucy Oliver, daughter of Philip Oliver and Lucy Gray, in 1780.2 He died in 1818.2
     He held the office of Chancellor of Limerick.2 He held the office of Archdeacon of Kildare.2 He lived at Thorpe Malsor, Northamptonshire, EnglandG.2

Lucy Maunsell1

     Lucy Maunsell was the daughter of Venerable William Maunsell and Lucy Oliver.2 She married Joseph Gabbett, son of Major Joseph Gabbett and Mary Lloyd.1 She died in 1867.1
     Her married name became Gabbett.

     From 1834, her married name became Gabbett.

     He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Madras Staff Corps.1
