     From 4 April 1855, her married name became Fagan.

     Lt.-Col. Christopher George Forbes Fagan was born on 15 March 1856.¹ He was the son of Christopher Sullivan Fagan and Ellen Denny.² He married Florence Evelyn Jessie Amesbury, daughter of Surg.-Major Joseph Walter Raleigh Amesbury, on 17 August 1881.¹ He died on 9 July 1943 at age 87.¹
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.¹ He was commissioned in 1875, in the service of the 63rd Foot.¹ He fought in the Afghan Campaign between 1879 and 1880.¹ He gained the rank of officer in 1880 in the 10th Bengal Lancers.¹ He was Political Agent and Consul, Muscat in 1898.¹ He was Political Agent, Kotah in 1900.¹ He was Political Agent, Ulwar in 1901.¹ He was Political Agent, East States Rajputana in 1904.¹ He retired from the military in 1907, with the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel, late of the Indian Army.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was mnetioned in despatches.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Defence Corps.¹

     Surg.-Major Joseph Walter Raleigh Amesbury gained the rank of Surgeon-Major in the Indian Medical Service.¹

     Florence Evelyn Jessie Amesbury was the daughter of Surg.-Major Joseph Walter Raleigh Amesbury.² She married Lt.-Col. Christopher George Forbes Fagan, son of Christopher Sullivan Fagan and Ellen Denny, on 17 August 1881.¹ She died on 13 November 1951.¹
     From 17 August 1881, her married name became Fagan.
