Lt.-Gen. John Conyers D'Arcy was born on 12 February 1894.2 He was the son of Most Rev. Charles Frederick D'Arcy and Harriet Le Byrtt Lewis.2 He married Noel Patricia Wakefield, daughter of Edward Wakefield and Frances Conolly, on 29 May 1920.3 He died on 1 February 1966 at age 71.2
