William Harvey du Cros was born on 19 June 1846.1 He was the son of Edward Peter du Cros and Anna Marie Molloy.2 He married Annie Jane Royal, daughter of James Royal, on 20 May 1868.1 He died on 21 December 1918 at age 72.1
He was awarded the Knight, Order of Isabella the Catholic Spain.1 He was awarded the Chevalier, Legion of Honour.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Sussex.1 He was founder pneumatic tyre industry and pioneer of the British motor industry.1 He lived at Howberry Park, Wallingford, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He lived at Inniscorring, Dalkey, County Dublin, IrelandG.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Hastings between 1906 and 1908.1

Sir Arthur Philip du Cros, 1st Bt. was born on 26 January 1871.1 He was the son of William Harvey du Cros and Annie Jane Royal.2 He married, firstly, Maude Gooding, daughter of William Gooding, on 31 October 1895.1 He and Maude Gooding were divorced in 1923.1 He married, secondly, Florence May Walton King, daughter of James Walton King, on 21 October 1928.1 He married, thirdly, Mary Louise Joan Beaumont, daughter of William Buhman, on 22 December 1951.1 He died on 28 October 1955 at age 84.1
He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for Hastings between 1908 and 1918.1 He was created 1st Baronet du Cros, of Canons, co. Middlesex [U.K.] on 5 July 1916.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) Maude Gooding was the daughter of William Gooding.2 She married Sir Arthur Philip du Cros, 1st Bt., son of William Harvey du Cros and Annie Jane Royal, on 31 October 1895.1 She and Sir Arthur Philip du Cros, 1st Bt. were divorced in 1923.1 She died on 12 December 1938.1
