Sir Philip Christopher Musgrave, 8th Bt. was born in 1794.1 He was the son of Sir John Chardin Musgrave, 7th Bt. and Mary Filmer.2 He married Elizabeth Fludyer, daughter of George Fludyer and Lady Mary Fane, on 21 October 1824.1 He died in July 1827.1
He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Musgrave, of Hartley Castle, Westmorland [E., 1611] in 1806.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Carlisle.1 In March 1818 at Cumberland, EnglandG, he was imprisoned.3,4
