Fanny Theodora Pye-Smith was the daughter of Ebenezer Pye-Smith.2 She married Sir Thomas Lane Devitt, 1st Bt., son of Thomas Henry Devitt and Margaret Lane, on 26 February 1863.1 She died on 5 February 1917.1

Sir Thomas Gordon Devitt, 2nd Bt. was born on 27 December 1902.1 He was the son of Arthur Devitt and Florence Emmeline Gordon.2 He married, firstly, Joan Mary Freemantle, daughter of Charles Reginald Freemantle, on 21 June 1930.1 He married, secondly, Lydia Mary Beloe, daughter of Edward Millgen Beloe, on 25 January 1937.1 He and Lydia Mary Beloe were divorced in 1953.1 He married, thirdly, Janet Lilian Ellis, daughter of Colonel Hugh Sidney Ellis, on 12 December 1953.1 He and Joan Mary Freemantle were divorced in 1936.1 He died on 23 December 1995 at age 92.1
