Reverend Samuel Madden was born on 23 December 1686.1 He was the son of John Madden and Mary Molyneux.1,2 He married Lucy Magill, daughter of Captain Hugh Magill and Lucy Balfour, on 22 August 1709.1 He died on 31 December 1765 at age 79.1

She was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)1 She was appointed Dame of Grace, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (D.G.St.J.)1 From 1 May 1879, her married name became Lloyd-Mostyn. After her marriage, Lady Mary Florence Edith Clements was styled as Baroness Mostyn of Mostyn on 17 March 1884.
