Reverend Henry Williams 2
He gained the rank of Midshipman in 1807 in the Royal Navy.2 He was ordained in June 1822.3 He and Marianne Coldham emigrated along with their children to New Zealand arriving on 3 August 1823 on board Lord Sidmouth to Sydney, and later on board Brampton from Sydney.3 He was a missionary with the Church Missionary Society at New Zealand.2 He held the office of Archdeacon of Te Waimate in 1844.2

Lydia Jane Williams was born on 2 December 1834 at Paihia, New Zealand.2,3 She was the daughter of Venerable Henry Williams and Marianne Coldham.4,2 She married Hugh Francis Carleton, son of Francis Carleton and Charlotte Margaretta Molyneux-Montgomerie, on 30 November 1859 at Pakaraka, Northland, New Zealand.1,3 She died on 28 November 1891 at age 56 at Napier, New Zealand.1,3
