Lt.-Col. Frederick Sadleir Brereton was born on 5 August 1872.1 He was the son of Franc Sadleir Brereton and Isabella Beeston.2 He married, firstly, Ethel Mary Lamb, daughter of William James Lamb, on 5 January 1898.1 He married, secondly, Isobel Jessie Ross, daughter of Thomas Jaffrey Ross, in 1953.1 He died on 12 August 1957 at age 85.1
