     Eliza Oliver was born on 19 March 1814.² She was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Nathaniel Wilmot Oliver and Eliza Baxter.^1,2 She married Reverend Chambré Corker Townsend, son of Reverend Horatio Townsend and Katherine Corker, on 18 August 1831.¹ She died on 17 August 1906 at age 92.¹
     From 18 August 1831, her married name became Townsend.¹

     Nathaniel Wilmot Oliver Townsend was born in February 1836.¹ He was the son of Reverend Chambré Corker Townsend and Eliza Oliver.² He married Maria Strawson, daughter of George Smith Strawson, in June 1862.¹ He died in 1896.¹

     George Smith Strawson lived at Cardiff, Glamorgan, Wales^G.¹ He was a civil engineer.¹

     Maria Strawson is the daughter of George Smith Strawson.² She married Nathaniel Wilmot Oliver Townsend, son of Reverend Chambré Corker Townsend and Eliza Oliver, in June 1862.¹
     From June 1862, her married name became Townsend.¹

     George Chambré Wilmot Townsend was born on 26 November 1863.¹ He was the son of Nathaniel Wilmot Oliver Townsend and Maria Strawson.² He married Eliza Susan Gray, daughter of French Gray, in 1894.¹
     He lived at Ballinagoma, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹ He lived at 41 Ashburton Road, Croydon, Surrey, England^G.¹

     French Gray was with the Ceylon Civil Service.¹
