Sir Henry Philip Hoghton, 7th Bt. was born on 12 June 1768.1 He was the son of Sir Henry Hoghton, 6th Bt. and Fanny Booth.2 He married Susannah Brooke, daughter of Peter Brooke, on 13 November 1797.1 He died in 1835.3
He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Preston between 1795 and 1802.1 He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Hoghton, of Hoghton Tower, and Walton le Dale, co. Lancaster [E., 1611] on 9 March 1795.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the 3rd Royal Lancashire Militia.1

Susannah Brooke was the daughter of Peter Brooke.2 She married, firstly, Thomas Townley Parker on 16 October 1787.3 She married, secondly, Sir Henry Philip Hoghton, 7th Bt., son of Sir Henry Hoghton, 6th Bt. and Fanny Booth, on 13 November 1797.1 She died on 8 December 1852.1

Sir Henry de Hoghton, 9th Bt. was born on 2 August 1821.1 He was the son of Sir Henry Bold-Hoghton, 8th Bt. and Dorothea Bold.2 He married, firstly, Louisa Josephine Saunders, daughter of Joseph Saunders, on 14 August 1845.1 He and Louisa Josephine Saunders were divorced in 1849 on the grounds of her adultery with Clarence Wigney.1,3 He married, secondly, Aline Jervis-White-Jervis, daughter of Sir Henry Jervis-White-Jervis, 2nd Bt. and Marian Campbell, on 1 July 1851.1 He married, secondly, Ellen Ann Harvey, daughter of Ralph Harvey, on 6 September 1854.1 He died on 2 December 1876 at age 55.1
