     Lionel Arthur Cecil Fane was born on 10 March 1851.¹ He was the son of Robert George Cecil Fane and Harriete Anne Blackwood.¹ He died on 1 April 1872 at age 21, unmarried.¹

     Cecil Francis William Fane was born on 7 October 1856.¹ He was the son of Robert George Cecil Fane and Harriete Anne Blackwood.¹ He married, firstly, Lady Augusta Fanny Rous, daughter of John Edward Cornwallis Rous, 2nd Earl of Stradbroke and Augusta Musgrave, on 8 May 1880.¹ He and Lady Augusta Fanny Rous were divorced in 1904.¹ He married, secondly, Muriel Ellen Harvey, daughter of John Selwyn Harvey, on 19 November 1904.¹ He died on 30 January 1914 at age 57.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Grenadier Guards.¹

     Anne Fane was born on 19 January 1780.¹ She was the daughter of Henry Fane and Anne Batson.¹ She married Lt.-Gen. John Michel, son of David Robert Michel, on 29 September 1803.¹ She died in March 1831 at age 51.¹
     From 29 September 1803, her married name became Michel.¹

     Lady Augusta Fanny Rous was the daughter of John Edward Cornwallis Rous, 2nd Earl of Stradbroke and Augusta Musgrave.^2,3 She married Cecil Francis William Fane, son of Robert George Cecil Fane and Harriete Anne Blackwood, on 8 May 1880.¹ She and Cecil Francis William Fane were divorced in 1904.¹ She died on 10 February 1950.¹
     From 8 May 1880, her married name became Fane.

     Charles George Cecil Fane was born on 8 April 1881.¹ He was the son of Cecil Francis William Fane and Lady Augusta Fanny Rous.² He married Rebecca Jephson, daughter of Major Henry Jephson, on 21 April 1942.¹ He died on 26 September 1950 at age 69.¹

     Major Henry Jephson lived at Lereko, Naivasha, Kenya^G.¹

     Rebecca Jephson was the daughter of Major Henry Jephson.² She married, firstly, Hugh Ward before 1942.¹ She married, secondly, Charles George Cecil Fane, son of Cecil Francis William Fane and Lady Augusta Fanny Rous, on 21 April 1942.¹ She died on 9 October 1961.¹
     From 21 April 1942, her married name became Fane.

     John Lionel Richards Fane was born on 2 January 1884.¹ He was the son of Cecil Francis William Fane and Lady Augusta Fanny Rous.² He married Barbara Kathleen Wallace, daughter of Falconer Lewis Wallace and Kathleen Annie Paget, on 30 July 1928.¹ He died on 25 October 1945 at age 61.¹

     Lt.-Gen. John Michel was born in 1765.² He was the son of David Robert Michel.² He married, firstly, Elizabeth Crosbie, daughter of Pierse Crosbie and Frances Bateman.³ He married, secondly, Anne Fane, daughter of Henry Fane and Anne Batson, on 29 September 1803.¹ He died in 1844.¹

     David Robert Michel was the son of John Michel.¹ He died in 1803.¹
