Reverend Eric Hart Dyke was born on 28 July 1906.1 He was the son of Colonel Percyvall Hart Dyke and Louisa Catherine Cave.2 He married Mary Alexander, daughter of Major Robert Alexander and Katharine Shaw-Stewart, on 7 August 1935.1 He died on 1 November 1971 at age 65.1
He lived at Jane Taylor's Cottage, Shilling Street, Lavenham, Suffolk, England.2 He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.1 He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches twice.1 He was ordained in 1952 a Deacon.1 He was ordained in 1953 a Priest.1 He was the Rector between 1953 and 1963 at Cowden, Kent, EnglandG.1
