Gavrelle Thomas was the daughter of William Arthur Thomas.2 She married, firstly, Christopher Hobhouse before 1941.1 She married, secondly, Hon. Geoffrey Cunliffe, son of Walter Cunliffe, 1st Baron Cunliffe and Edith Cunningham Boothby, in September 1941.1 She and Hon. Geoffrey Cunliffe were divorced in 1947.1 She died on 1 May 1959.1
