     Henrietta Townsend was the daughter of Henry Townsend and Annabella Westropp.^2,3 She married Henry Morgan Carbery Crofton, son of Reverend Henry William Crofton and Marianne Amelia Cazalet, on 20 June 1865.¹ She died on 13 October 1878.¹
     From 20 June 1865, her married name became Crofton.

     Major Henry William George Crofton was born on 14 July 1866.¹ He was the son of Henry Morgan Carbery Crofton and Henrietta Townsend.² He married Marianne Gertrude Wingrove, daughter of Drummond B. Wingrove, on 3 September 1889.¹ He died on 5 February 1902 at age 35 at South Africa^G, killed in action.¹
     He lived at Inchinappa, County Wicklow, Ireland^G.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the 3rd Battalion, East Surrey Regiment.¹ He fought in the Boer War.¹

     Marianne Gertrude Wingrove was the daughter of Drummond B. Wingrove.² She married, firstly, Major Henry William George Crofton, son of Henry Morgan Carbery Crofton and Henrietta Townsend, on 3 September 1889.¹ She married, secondly, Major James Logan Ellis, son of James Walter Ellis, on 31 August 1905.¹ She died on 17 December 1945.
     From 3 September 1889, her married name became Crofton. From 31 August 1905, her married name became Ellis.¹

     Hugh Arthur Crofton was born on 30 July 1873.¹ He was the son of Henry Morgan Carbery Crofton and Henrietta Townsend.² He died on 16 January 1953 at age 79, unmarried.¹

     Henrietta Annabella Mary Crofton was the daughter of Henry Morgan Carbery Crofton and Henrietta Townsend.² She died in December 1943, unmarried.¹

     Eva Annabella Jane Crofton was the daughter of Henry Morgan Carbery Crofton and Henrietta Townsend.² She married Captain Vere Henry Birch Reynardson, son of Colonel Edward Birch Reynardson and Emily Fane, on 4 November 1892.¹ She died on 29 April 1955.¹
     From 4 November 1892, her married name became Birch Reynardson.

     Colonel Edward Birch Reynardson was born on 4 May 1812.² He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Thomas Birch Reynardson and Ethelred Anne Reynardson.² He married Emily Fane, daughter of Vere Fane and Elizabeth Chaplin, on 5 September 1849.² He died on 10 May 1895 at age 83.²
     He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)³

     Captain Vere Henry Birch Reynardson was born on 26 March 1864.² He was the son of Colonel Edward Birch Reynardson and Emily Fane.^3,2 He was baptised on 29 April 1864 at St. Mary's Church, St. Marylebone, London, England^G.² He married Eva Annabella Jane Crofton, daughter of Henry Morgan Carbery Crofton and Henrietta Townsend, on 4 November 1892.¹ He died on 25 January 1941 at age 76 at Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England^G.^1,4
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 3rd Battalion, Hampshire Regiment.¹ He fought in the Second World War.⁴ He lived at Rushington Manor, Totton, Hampshire, England^G.¹

     Lilian Elizabeth Crofton was the daughter of Henry Morgan Carbery Crofton and Henrietta Townsend.² She married Riversdale Sampson French, son of Venerable Thomas Fitzgerald French and Harriet Selina Molony, on 5 August 1908.¹ She died on 4 April 1952.¹
     From 5 August 1908, her married name became French.
