     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy.¹ He lived at Anlaby House, Upham, Hampshire, England^G.¹ He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.)¹

     Jessica Patricia Ffennell was born on 1 December 1989.^1,2 She is the daughter of Simon Walter Hugh Ffennell and Lucinda Mary Ringrose-Voase.¹ She married Frederick John Muirhead, son of Martin Andrew Muirhead and Diana McHarg, in 2020.²
     From 2020, her married name became Muirhead.²

     Georgina Ffennell was born on 15 June 1992.¹ She is the daughter of Simon Walter Hugh Ffennell and Lucinda Mary Ringrose-Voase.¹ She married Hector Hugh Bevan, son of Hugh Charles Bevan and Henrietta Mary Warner, in 2022.²

     Cecily Blanche Dorothy Ryder was born on 28 April 1893.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend Algernon Charles Dudley Ryder and Constance Eugenia Smith.¹ She married Charles Francis Lovell Piggott, son of Walter Piggott, on 1 August 1933.¹ She died on 17 May 1962 at age 69.¹
     She graduated from London University, London, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ From 1 August 1933, her married name became Piggott.¹

     Charles Francis Lovell Piggott was the son of Walter Piggott.¹ He married Cecily Blanche Dorothy Ryder, daughter of Reverend Algernon Charles Dudley Ryder and Constance Eugenia Smith, on 1 August 1933.¹ He died in 1964.¹
