Major John Wilson was born on 13 April 1911.1 He was the son of Sir James Robertson Wilson of Airdrie, 2nd Bt. and Helen Rae Fife Graham.2 He married Zoe Jane Orr, daughter of George Simpson Orr, on 20 June 1936.1 He died on 22 January 1942 at age 30 at MalaysiaG, killed in action.1,3

Zoe Jane Orr was the daughter of George Simpson Orr.2 She married, firstly, Major John Wilson, son of Sir James Robertson Wilson of Airdrie, 2nd Bt. and Helen Rae Fife Graham, on 20 June 1936.1 She married, secondly, Guy Cecil Turner, son of Cecil Willie Turner and Emily Diana Cecilia Streatfeild, on 10 May 1943.1 She died in November 2008.3
