     Alfred Gilbey was born on 23 October 1833.1 He was the son of Henry Gilbey and Elizabeth Bailey.2 He married Agnes Crosbie, daughter of W. Crosbie, on 29 March 1858.1 He died on 28 November 1879 at age 46.1
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He lived at Wooburn House, Wooburn, Buckinghamshire, EnglandG.1

     Agnes Crosbie was the daughter of W. Crosbie.2 She married Alfred Gilbey, son of Henry Gilbey and Elizabeth Bailey, on 29 March 1858.1 She died on 23 August 1920.1
     From 29 March 1858, her married name became Gilbey.

     Alfred Ronald Gilbey was born on 23 April 1886.1 He was the son of Colonel Alfred Gilbey and Beatrice Elizabeth Holland.2 He married, firstly, Florence Emily Dashwood, daughter of Sir Edwin Abercromby Dashwood, 8th Bt. and Florence Norton, on 28 April 1910.1 He and Florence Emily Dashwood were divorced in 1925.1 He married, secondly, Jane Elizabeth Scaife in 1934.2 He died on 17 June 1954 at age 68.1
     Alfred Ronald Gilbey usually went by his middle name of Ronald.2 He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1

     Sir Edwin Abercromby Dashwood, 8th Bt. was born on 28 October 1854.2 He was the son of Sir Edwin Hare Dashwood, 7th Bt. and Roberta Henrietta Abercromby.2 He married Florence Norton, daughter of Frederick Norton and Mary Emily Brady, on 24 August 1889.2 He died on 7 April 1893 at age 38.2
     He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Dashwood, of West Wycombe, co. Bucks [G.B., 1707] on 8 May 1882.2

     Florence Emily Dashwood was born on 11 August 1890.2 She was the daughter of Sir Edwin Abercromby Dashwood, 8th Bt. and Florence Norton.2 She married, firstly, Alfred Ronald Gilbey, son of Colonel Alfred Gilbey and Beatrice Elizabeth Holland, on 28 April 1910.1 She and Alfred Ronald Gilbey were divorced in 1925.1 She married, secondly, Otto Lerwill, son of W. H. Lerwill, in September 1947.2 She died on 17 April 1969 at age 78.1
     From 28 April 1910, her married name became Gilbey. From September 1947, her married name became Lerwill.2

     Alfred Ronald Dashwood Gilbey was born on 20 February 1911 at Chelsea, London, EnglandG.3,2 He was the son of Alfred Ronald Gilbey and Florence Emily Dashwood.3 He married Anne Leslie-Smith, daughter of Captain Gilbert Leslie-Smith, on 24 January 1947.1 He died on 31 July 1977 at age 66 at Chelsea, London, EnglandG.1,2
     He was educated at Westminster School, Westminster, London, EnglandG.1 He held the office of Member of the London County Council between 1952 and 1958, for Holborn and St. Pancras.3 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)1 He was chairman of W & A Gilbey between 1958 and 1969.1 He held the office of Member of the Great London Council between 1967 and 1973, for Haringey.3
