Spencer Henry Curtis was born on 11 July 1833.1 He was the son of Charles Berwick Curtis and Henrietta Pearson.2 He married Margaret Tupper Carey, daughter of De Vic Carey, on 17 August 1864.1 He died on 26 February 1913 at age 79.1

Margaret Tupper Carey was the daughter of De Vic Carey.2 She married Spencer Henry Curtis, son of Charles Berwick Curtis and Henrietta Pearson, on 17 August 1864.1 She died on 16 November 1899.1

Major Spencer Carey Curtis was born on 23 July 1865.1 He was the son of Spencer Henry Curtis and Margaret Tupper Carey.2 He married Edith Mabel Eaton, daughter of T. J. Eaton, on 4 February 1902.1 He died on 28 March 1945 at age 79.1
He fought in the Boer War in 1900.1 He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)1 He gained the rank of Captain and Honoray Major in the 8th City of London Battalion, London Regiment (PO Rifles.)1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Institute of British Architects (F.R.I.B.A.)1 He gained the rank of Captain and Honorary Major in the Royal Guernsey Engineers (Militia.)1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He was Temporary Major of the Royal Engineers, Guernsey and Alderney District.1
