     Alfred Alyson Fennell Minchin was born on 25 August 1887.1 He was the son of Henry Paul Minchin and Lavinia Fennell.1 He married Kathleen Winifred Molesworth, daughter of Colonel William Molesworth and Winifred Anne Weeks, on 18 October 1919 at Simla, Bengal, India.2,3 He died on 10 June 1973 at age 85.1 He was also reported to have died on 10 July 1973.4
     He was educated at Marlborough College, Marlborough, Wiltshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Exeter College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 He was Conservator with the Indian Forest Service between 1908 and 1938 at Madras, IndiaG.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Duke of York's HQ.1

     Kathleen Winifred Molesworth was born on 15 June 1896 at Madras, India.2 She was the daughter of Colonel William Molesworth and Winifred Anne Weeks.1,3 She was baptised on 27 August 1896 at Salem, Madras, India.2 She married Alfred Alyson Fennell Minchin, son of Henry Paul Minchin and Lavinia Fennell, on 18 October 1919 at Simla, Bengal, India.4,2 She died on 17 March 1998 at age 101.5
     From 18 October 1919, her married name became Minchin.1 She lived in 1976 at Cruxfield House, Duns, Berwickshire, ScotlandG.1

     Colonel William Molesworth was born on 30 December 1865.2 He is the son of Lt.-Col. Anthony Oliver Molesworth and Anne Elizabeth Smith.3 He married Winifred Anne Weeks, daughter of Thomas Earle Weeks, on 9 March 1893.2 He died on 27 February 1951 at age 85.2
     He was educated at Bristol University, Bristol, England.2 He graduated from Durham University, Durham, County Durham, England.2 He graduated with a Bachelor of Surgery (B.S.)1 He graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine (M.B.)1 He was registered as a Licentiate, Royal College of Physicians, London (L.R.C.P.)1 He was registered as a Member, Royal College of Surgeons (M.R.C.S.) He was with the Wuntho Field Force, Burma in 1891.2 He was Surgeon to the Governor of Madras between 1899 and 1904.2 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Indian Medical Service.1 He was Surgeon to the Viceroy of India in 1904.2 He was Surgeon to the Governor of Madras between 1905 and 1908.2 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Indian Empire (C.I.E.) in 1914.2 He was Deputy Director of Medical Service HQ India in 1916.2 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1918.2
