Ernle Kyrle Money was born on 18 February 1814.1 He was the son of Vice-Admiral Rowland Money and Maria Money.1 He married, firstly, Mary Emma Weller Lewin, daughter of Fawcett James Lewin, on 26 September 1850.1 He married, secondly, Martha Wall, daughter of J. J. Wall, on 8 May 1880.1 He died in January 1883 at age 68.1
