     Captain George Augustus Blakeney was born on 7 June 1716.1 He was the son of Colonel Robert Blakeney and Sarah Ormsby.1 He married Mary Dixon, daughter of John Dixon, on 29 January 1744/45, they had additional issue.1 He died on 25 February 1799 at age 82.1
     He fought in the Battle of Cartagena.1 He gained the rank of Captain on 17 February 1745 in the in General Blakeney's Regiment (the 27th.)1 He fought in the Battle of Culloden.1 He lived at Distington, Cumberland, EnglandG.1

     Robert Blakeney was baptised on 5 February 1758.1 He was the son of Captain George Augustus Blakeney and Mary Dixon.1 He and Elizabeth Burrows obtained a marriage license on 10 March 1780, they had no children, (this was his first marriage.)1 He married, secondly, Margaret Edwards, daughter of Reverend Samuel de la Brouf Edwards, in a childless marriage.1 He died on 6 November 1822 at age 64.1
     He was a Collector of Customs at Whitehaven, Cumberland, EnglandG.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He lived at Whitehaven, Cumberland, EnglandG.1
