     Emma Vernon was the daughter of Thomas Vernon and Emma Cornewall.¹ She married, firstly, Henry Cecil, 1st Marquess of Exeter, son of Hon. Thomas Chambers Cecil and Charlotte Garnier, on 23 May 1776.¹ She and Henry Cecil, 1st Marquess of Exeter were divorced on 10 June 1791. She married, secondly, Reverend William Sneyd, son of Edward Sneyd, on 13 October 1791.² She married, thirdly, John Phillips in 1795.
     From 23 May 1776, her married name became Cecil. From 13 October 1791, her married name became Sneyd. From 1795, her married name became Phillips.

     Rev. Hon. Henry Douglas Douglas was born on 17 December 1822.² He was the son of George Sholto Douglas, 17th Earl of Morton and Frances Theodora Rose.^1,2 He was baptised on 1 January 1823 at Berlin, Brandenburg, Germany^G.³ He married Lady Mary Baillie-Hamilton, daughter of George Baillie-Hamilton, 10th Earl of Haddington and Georgina Markham, on 7 June 1855.¹ He died on 4 October 1907 at age 84.²
     He graduated from Durham University, Durham, County Durham, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)² He graduated from University of the Southern U.S.A., Sewanee, Tennessee, U.S.A., with a B.L.C.² He was Rector between 1855 and 1877 at Hanbury, Worcestershire, England.² He was Vicar between 1877 and 1904 at St. Pauls, Worcester, Worcestershire, England.² He held the office of Canon of Worcester.²

     Hon. Harriet Frances Scott was born in 1845. She was the daughter of Henry Francis Hepburne-Scott, 7th Lord Polwarth and Lady Georgina Baillie.¹ She married Commander Hon. Henry Baillie-Hamilton, son of George Baillie-Hamilton, 10th Earl of Haddington and Georgina Markham, on 17 October 1872.¹ She died on 18 March 1925.¹
     From 17 October 1872, her married name became Baillie-Hamilton.²

     Alice Ashburnham is the daughter of John Ashburnham and Lora Berkeley.¹ She married John Daniel.²
     Her married name became Daniel.²

     Sarah Hoggins was baptised on 28 June 1773. She was the daughter of Thomas Hoggins and Jane Bayley.¹ She married Henry Cecil, 1st Marquess of Exeter, son of Hon. Thomas Chambers Cecil and Charlotte Garnier, on 3 October 1791.¹ She died on 18 January 1797 at age 23.¹
     Sarah Hoggins also went by the nick-name of 'The Peasant Countess'.¹ From 3 October 1791, her married name became Cecil. After her marriage, Sarah Hoggins was styled as Countess of Exeter on 26 December 1793.
