     William Barcroft was the son of Robert Barcroft and Alice Ingham.1 He married Agnes (?)1 He was buried on 9 February 1580 at Burnley, Lancashire, EnglandG.1
     In 1560 William Barcroft and Agnes (?) were freeholders Worsthorne Parish, Burnley, Lancashire, England.1 He settled estates in Foulridge, Lancashire, EnglandG, on his younger sons, Thomas and Henry, by Deed on 30 April 1575.1 He lived at Barcroft Hall, Cliviger, Lancashire, EnglandG.1
