     Sir Robert Dundas of Arniston, 2nd Bt. was born on 28 July 1857.² He was the son of Sir Robert Dundas, 1st Bt. and Emily Louisa Diana Knox.² He married Evelyn Henrietta Graham-Montgomery, daughter of Sir Graham Graham-Montgomery, 3rd Bt. and Alice Hope Johnstone, on 22 April 1893.¹ He died on 12 December 1910 at age 53.²
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 1st Battalion, Scots Guards.² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)² He was Brigadier of the Royal Company of Archers.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)² He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 3rd Battalion, Royal Scots Lothian Regiment.² He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Dundas, of Arniston, co. Midlothian [U.K., 1898] on 11 November 1909.¹

     John Basil Hamilton Montgomery was born on 11 September 1824.¹ He was the son of Sir James Montgomery, 2nd Bt. and Helen Graham.¹ He died on 22 February 1911 at age 86, unmarried.¹
     He was Commissioner of Supply, Lanarkshire.¹ He lived at Newton, Lanarkshire, Scotland^G.¹

     Isabel Balfour married John Seton, son of George Seton, 4th Lord Seton and Elizabeth Hay.¹

     Hon. Anna Maria Elphinstone was born on 9 November 1829.³ She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. James Drummond Buller-Fullerton-Elphinstone and Anna Maria Buller.^1,4 She married Captain Thomas Henry Montgomery, son of Sir James Montgomery, 2nd Bt. and Helen Graham, on 4 March 1857.¹ She died on 20 March 1914 at age 84.¹
     From 4 March 1857, her married name became Montgomery.¹

     Sir George Ogilvy of Dunlugus married Beatrix Seton, daughter of George Seton, 4th Lord Seton and Elizabeth Hay.¹

     Sir Philip Perceval was the son of Richard Perceval and Alice Sherman.¹ He married Catherine Ussher, daughter of Arthur Ussher and Judith Newcomen, in 1626.¹ He died on 10 November 1647.¹
     He acquired approximately 100,000 acres of forfeited lands in Ireland.¹

     Richard Perceval was born in 1550.¹ He was the son of George Perceval and Elizabeth Bampfylde.¹ He married, secondly, Alice Sherman, daughter of John Sherman.¹ He married, firstly, Joan Young, daughter of Henry Young.¹ He died in 1620.¹
     He was educated at St. Paul's School, London, England^G.¹ He was confidential agent to Lord Burghley.¹ In 1586 he deciphered the secret letters which gave Queen Elizabeth I the first intelligence about the Spanish Armada.¹ He was Secretary of the Court of Wards [Ireland].¹ He was Registrar of the Court of Wards [Ireland] in 1616.¹ He had three sons and two daughter by his first wife.¹

     Brigadier Ernest John Montgomery was born on 24 March 1901.¹ He was the son of Herbert Elphinstone Montgomery and Janet Katharine Olive Anson.¹ He married Rosemary Elizabeth Noble, daughter of Sir John Henry Brunel Noble of Ardkinglas, 1st Bt. and Amie Walker-Waters, on 11 March 1931.¹ He died on 10 October 1972 at age 71.¹
     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Argyllshire.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches twice.¹ He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1940.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1945.¹ He adopted Elizabeth Jean Montgomery.¹ He was admitted to the Royal Company of Archers.¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1950.¹ He gained the rank of Brigadier in the Highland Light Infantry.¹ He fought in the Malayan Campaign between 1951 and 1954.¹ He was Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1953.¹

     Sarah Elizabeth Louise Griffin was born in 1964.¹ She is the daughter of Anthony Reginald Fitzroy Griffin and Shirley Jonas.^2,1 She married Anthony Michael Bradshaw.¹
