     Theodore Ryland was born on 31 December 1827 at Waterford, County Waterford, Ireland^G.¹ He was the son of Reverend Richard Hopkins Ryland and Isabella Julia Fleury.¹ He married Mary Anne Hughes.¹ He died on 20 August 1904 at age 76 at Birch Grove, Monkstown, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹
     He was a practising Barrister-at-Law.¹

     Her married name became Ryland.¹

     Isabella Julia Fleury was born on 31 December 1797.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend George Louis Fleury and Isabella Weekes.¹ She married Reverend Richard Hopkins Ryland, son of Reverend Richard Ryland and Mary Burton, on 7 August 1818 at St. Patrick's Church, Waterford, County Waterford, Ireland^G.¹ She died in 1873.¹
     From 7 August 1818, her married name became Ryland.¹
