     Robert Hesketh was baptised on 20 January 1560 at Whalley, Lancashire, England.2 He was the son of Sir Thomas Hesketh and Alice Holcroft.3 He married, firstly, Mary Stanley, daughter of Sir George Stanley.1 He married, thirdly, Jane Spencer, daughter of Thomas Spencer.3 He married, secondly, Blanch Twyford, daughter of Henry Twyford, before 1589.3 He died on 7 November 1620 at age 60.2
     He lived at Rufford, Lancashire, England.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Lancashire from 1597 to 1598.3
