     George Richard Spensley Simey was born on 23 April 1937.2 He was the son of William Spensley Simey and Margaret Mary Jenkins.1 He married Penelope Pares, daughter of Major H. Pares, on 29 October 1960.1 He died on 11 November 2017 at age 80 at Exeter, Devon, England.3
     He was a practising solicitor in 1960.1 He was a partner in Ford, Simey and Ford in 1961.1 He had three daughters.1
