Thomas Jones, 6th Viscount of Ranelagh1

     Thomas Jones, 6th Viscount of Ranelagh was born on 3 February 1763.1 He was the son of Charles Wilkinson Jones, 4th Viscount Ranelagh and Sarah Montgomery.1 He married, firstly, Caroline Elizabeth Stephens, daughter of Sir Philip Stephens, 1st and last Bt., on 21 August 1804 at Fulham, London, EnglandG.1 He married, secondly, Caroline Louisa Thompson, daughter of Colonel unknown Lee, on 13 September 1811.1 He died on 4 July 1820 at age 57 at Ranelagh House, Fulham, London, EnglandG.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the 66th Foot, in Northumberland.1 He succeeded as the 6th Viscount Ranelagh [I., 1628] on 20 December 1800.1 He succeeded as the 6th Baron Jones of Navan, co. Meath [I., 1628] on 20 December 1800.1

     Major Hon. Richard Jones was born on 24 March 1764.1 He was the son of Charles Wilkinson Jones, 4th Viscount Ranelagh and Sarah Montgomery.1 He married Sophia Gildard, daughter of John Gildard, on 14 September 1785.1 He died, without issue.1

     Sophia Gildard is the daughter of John Gildard.1 She married Major Hon. Richard Jones, son of Charles Wilkinson Jones, 4th Viscount Ranelagh and Sarah Montgomery, on 14 September 1785.1
     From 14 September 1785, her married name became Jones.1
