     Sir Terence Reade McConnell, 5th Bt. was born on 16 November 1959.¹ He was the son of James Angus McConnell and Elizabeth Jillian Harris.² He married Lorel Natalie Willetts on 16 November 1987.¹ He died on 28 November 2025 at age 66.³
     He was educated at Gordonstoun School, Elgin, Morayshire, Scotland^G.¹ He graduated with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)¹ He retired from the military, with the rank of Major, late of the Royal Irish Regiment.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Baronet McConnell, of the Moat, Belfast [U.K., 1900] in July 2021.³
