     Surgn.-Gen. Henry Kendall gained the rank of Surgeon-General in the Army Medical Department.²

     Lt.-Col. Sidney Robert Gordon Kendall was the son of Surgn.-Gen. Henry Kendall.² He married Constance Alice Leese, daughter of Sir Joseph Francis Leese, 1st Bt. and Mary Constance Hargreaves, on 11 September 1907.¹ He died on 19 March 1959.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Indian Army.¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)¹

     Dorothy Violet Leese was born on 26 November 1883.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Joseph Francis Leese, 1st Bt. and Mary Constance Hargreaves.² She married Leonard Curtis Rawlence, son of James Edward Rawlence, on 11 April 1907.¹ She died on 28 April 1942 at age 58.¹
     From 11 April 1907, her married name became Rawlence.

     James Edward Rawlence lived at The Chantry, Wilton, Salisbury, Wiltshire, England^G.¹

     Leonard Curtis Rawlence was the son of James Edward Rawlence.² He married Dorothy Violet Leese, daughter of Sir Joseph Francis Leese, 1st Bt. and Mary Constance Hargreaves, on 11 April 1907.¹ He died on 7 December 1957.¹

     Barbara Adamson Parker was born on 30 April 1926.² She was the daughter of Albert Parker.¹ She married John Thornton Calvert in 1948.² She married, secondly, Robert Lynd Erskine Lowry, Baron Lowry, son of Rt. Hon. William Lowry, in 1994.¹ She died on 22 July 2015 at age 89.²
     She was educated at London School of Economics, London, England.² From 1948, her married name became Calvert.¹ She held the office of Deputy High Court Judge.² She was appointed Queen's Counsel (Q.C.) in 1975.¹ After her marriage, Barbara Adamson Parker was styled as Baroness Lowry in 1994. From 1994, her married name became Lowry.¹

     Jane Branch-Evans was the daughter of Reverend Charles James Branch-Evans.² She married Admiral Terence Thornton Lewin, Baron Lewin, son of E. H. Lewin, in 1944.¹ She died on 21 July 2004 at Battle, Sussex, England.³
     From 1944, her married name became Lewin. After her marriage, Jane Branch-Evans was styled as Baroness Lewin on 19 November 1982.

     Hon. Timothy Charles Thornton Lewin was born in 1947.¹ He is the son of Admiral Terence Thornton Lewin, Baron Lewin and Jane Branch-Evans.² He married Carolyn Thain in 1973.¹
