     William Forrester, 4th Lord Forrester of Corstorphine was the son of William Baillie and Hon. Lilias Forrester.1 He married Margaret Birnie, daughter of Sir Andrew Birnie, before 1684.1 He died in 1705.1
     He was given the name of William Baillie at birth.1 He succeeded as the 4th Lord Forrester of Corstorphine [S., 1633] in May 1681.2

William Baillie1

     William Baillie was born on 12 December 1632.1 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. William Baillie and Janet Bruce.2 He married Hon. Lilias Forrester, daughter of George Forrester, 1st Lord Forrester of Corstorphine and Christine Livingston, before 1 March 1650.1 He died in May 1681 at age 48.1
     He succeeded as the 3rd Lord Forrester of Corstorphine [S., 1633] on 26 August 1679, de jure.3
