     Margaret Malbone was the daughter of Francis Malbone.1 She married Rear-Admiral Sir Henry Edwyn Stanhope, 1st Bt., son of Edwyn Francis Stanhope and Catherine Brydges, on 14 August 1783.1,2 She died on 8 August 1809.2
     From 14 August 1783, her married name became Stanhope.1

     From 18 December 1926, her married name became Browne.1 In 1938 she was granted the rank of the daughter of an earl.1 She was with the Foreign Relations Department during the Second World War.2

Ian McDonald were divorced in 1947.1 She married, secondly, John Harford Stanhope Lucas-Scudamore, son of Colonel Edward Lucas-Scudamore and Sybil Frances Webber, on 24 October 1947.1
     From 28 September 1938, her married name became McDonald.1 From 24 October 1947, her married name became Lucas-Scudamore.1
