     From 22 November 1810, her married name became Loftie.¹

     Billington Loftie was born on 10 June 1772 at Wingham, London, England.² He married Leonora Raffles, daughter of Benjamin Raffles and Anne Lyde, on 22 November 1810.² He died on 12 March 1812 at age 39 at Semrang, Java, Indonesia.²
     He was a surgeon with the East India Company Service.²
