     Sir William Richard Carter Chaytor, 2nd Bt. was born on 7 February 1805.² He was the son of Sir William Chaytor, 1st Bt. and Isabella Carter.² He married, firstly, Annie Lacy, daughter of unknown Lacy, on 27 September 1836.² He married unknown Smith, daughter of John Whitney Smith, on 16 March 1852.² He died on 9 February 1871 at age 66.²
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Durham City between 1831 and 1834.² He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Chaytor, of Croft, co. York [U.K., 1831] on 28 January 1847.¹

     John Clervaux Chaytor was born on 8 September 1806.¹ He was the son of Sir William Chaytor, 1st Bt. and Isabella Carter.² He married Lydia Frances Brown, daughter of Thomas Brown, on 30 January 1834.¹ He died on 8 May 1894 at age 87.¹
     He lived at Croft, Yorkshire, England^G.¹

     Thomas Brown lived at New Grove, County Kilkenny, Ireland^G.¹

     Lydia Frances Brown was the daughter of Thomas Brown.² She married John Clervaux Chaytor, son of Sir William Chaytor, 1st Bt. and Isabella Carter, on 30 January 1834.¹ She died on 2 October 1889.¹
     From 30 January 1834, her married name became Chaytor.

     John Clervaux Chaytor was born on 28 January 1836.¹ He was the son of John Clervaux Chaytor and Lydia Frances Brown.² He married Emma Fearon, daughter of Edward Fearon, on 30 January 1867.¹ He died on 2 April 1920 at age 84.¹

     Edward Fearon lived at Nelson, New Zealand^G.¹

     Emma Fearon was the daughter of Edward Fearon.² She married John Clervaux Chaytor, son of John Clervaux Chaytor and Lydia Frances Brown, on 30 January 1867.¹ She died on 8 May 1913.¹
     From 30 January 1867, her married name became Chaytor.

     Maj.-Gen. Sir Edward Walter Clervaux Chaytor was born on 21 June 1868.¹ He was the son of John Clervaux Chaytor and Emma Fearon.² He married Louisa Jane Collins, daughter of Charles Sweeney Collins, on 17 October 1898.¹ He died on 13 June 1939 at age 70.¹
     He fought in the Boer War between 1900 and 1902, where he was severely wounded and mentioned in despatches.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.)¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.)¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was twice wounded and mentioned in despatches seven times.¹ He was Aide-de-Camp to HM King George V between 1917 and 1921.¹ He was awarded the Order of the White Eagle of Serbia 3rd Class with swords.¹ He was awarded the Order of the Nile 2nd Class.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹ He gained the rank of Major-General.¹ He was General Officer Commanding of the New Zealand Forces between 1919 and 1924.¹ He gained the rank of Honorary Colonel in 1923 in the 8th New Zealand Mounted Rifles.¹

     Charles Sweeney Collins lived at Wharton Street, London, England^G.¹

     Louisa Jane Collins was the daughter of Charles Sweeney Collins.² She married Maj.-Gen. Sir Edward Walter Clervaux Chaytor, son of John Clervaux Chaytor and Emma Fearon, on 17 October 1898.¹ She died on 26 May 1948.¹
     From 17 October 1898, her married name became Chaytor.
