     John Blount was the son of Sir Walter Blount.1 He married, firstly, Isolda Mountjoy, daughter of Sir Thomas Mountjoy. He married, secondly, Eleanor Beauchamp, daughter of John Beauchamp, 2nd Lord Beauchamp (of Somerset) and Margaret St. John, before 1357.2 He died in 1358.1 He died in 1357.2
     He lived at Sodington, Worcestershire, EnglandG.2 He was also known as Sir John Blount.2
     He was ancestor of the Blounts, Lords Mountjoy, by his second wife.2
