Reverend Richard George Handcock was the son of Lt.-Col. Richard Handcock and Jane Fraser.2 He married Mary Swinhoe Swinhoe, daughter of General Samuel Swinhoe, in 1855.1 He died in 1913.1

Very Rev. Stephen Handcock was born on 3 September 1657 at Waterstown, County Westmeath, Ireland.1,2 He was the son of William Handcock and Abigail Stanley.3 He married Margaret Warner, daughter of Edward Warner, on 26 October 1688 at Cloyne, County Cork, Ireland.2 He died on 24 April 1718 at age 60.2
He held the office of Dean of Kilmacduogh.1 He was an ancestor of the Handcocks, later Temples, of Waterstown, County Westmeath.1
