Rose Rich was the daughter of Thomas Goodwin Rich.2 She married Sir Robert Reginald Frederick Butler, 1st Bt., son of Frederick James Butler and Susan Swanton, on 12 June 1895.1 She died on 26 August 1945.1

Sir Reginald Thomas Butler, 2nd Bt. was born on 27 April 1901.1 He was the son of Sir Robert Reginald Frederick Butler, 1st Bt. and Rose Rich.2 He married, firstly, Marjorie Brown Woods, daughter of Sidney Brown Woods, on 1 June 1927.1 He and Marjorie Brown Woods were divorced in 1949.1 He married, secondly, Kathleen Phyllis Southerton, daughter of William Aubrey Southerton, on 1 December 1950.1 He died on 22 March 1959 at age 57.1
