     Hon. Anthony William Ashley-Cooper was born on 4 October 1803.² He was the son of Cropley Ashley-Cooper, 6th Earl of Shaftesbury and Lady Anne Spencer.^3,2 He married Maria Ann Baillie, daughter of Colonel Hugh Duncan Baillie and Elizabeth Reynett, on 8 March 1831.¹ He died on 18 April 1877 at age 73, without issue.²
     Hon. Anthony William Ashley-Cooper usually went by his middle name of William.² He was Master of St. Catherine's Hospital.² He graduated with a Doctor of Civil Law (D.C.L.)²

     Augusta Vesey Baillie was born on 24 January 1816.² She was the daughter of Colonel Hugh Duncan Baillie and Elizabeth Reynett.¹ She was baptised on 13 December 1817 at St. Augustine-the-Less, Bristol, England.² She died on 31 August 1854 at age 38.¹

     Mary Smith is the daughter of Thomas Smith.¹ She married Colonel Hugh Duncan Baillie, son of Evan Baillie of Dochfour and Mary Gurley, on 2 July 1821.¹
     From 2 July 1821, her married name became Baillie.¹

     Daniel Hughes-Onslow was born in 1987.¹ He is the son of Archibald Edward Neil Hughes-Onslow and Mary Ryan.¹

     Lt.-Col. Hugh Smith Baillie was born in 1822.¹ He was the son of Colonel Hugh Duncan Baillie and Mary Smith.¹ He married, secondly, Eve Maria Villebois, daughter of Henry Villebois and Eve (?), in 1847.¹ He died in 1898.²
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Horse Guards.¹

     Eve Maria Villebois was born on 26 May 1803.² She was the daughter of Henry Villebois and Eve (?)² She married, firstly, Edmund Henry Pery, Viscount Glentworth, son of Henry Hartstonge Pery, Lord Glentworth and Annabella Edwards, on 8 October 1836.³ She married, secondly, Lt.-Col. Hugh Smith Baillie, son of Colonel Hugh Duncan Baillie and Mary Smith, in 1847.¹ She died on 28 August 1903 at age 100.³
     From 8 October 1836, her married name became Pery.¹ From 1847, her married name became Baillie.¹

     Edmund Henry Pery, Viscount Glentworth was born on 3 March 1809.² He was the son of Henry Hartstonge Pery, Lord Glentworth and Annabella Edwards.¹ He married Eve Maria Villebois, daughter of Henry Villebois and Eve (?), on 8 October 1836.² He died on 16 February 1844 at age 34, without issue.²
     He was styled as Viscount Glentworth between 1834 and 1844, improperly since the family does not possess a Viscountcy of Glentworth.²

     Lt.-Gen. Duncan James Baillie was born on 18 October 1826.² He was the son of Colonel Hugh Duncan Baillie and Mary Smith.² He was baptised on 16 March 1827 at All Soul's Church, Marylebone, London, England. He married Anne Glentworth Burnaby, daughter of Reverend Gustavus Burnaby, on 24 July 1862 at St. Peter's Church, Bedford, Bedfordshire, England.² He died on 27 July 1890 at age 63 at Lockloy, Nairnshire, Scotland.
     He lived at Lockloy, Nairnshire, Scotland^G.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)² He gained the rank of Lieutenant-General in the Royal Horse Guards.³

     Anne Glentworth Burnaby was born in 1838 at Bedfordshire, England.² She was the daughter of Reverend Gustavus Burnaby.¹ She married Lt.-Gen. Duncan James Baillie, son of Colonel Hugh Duncan Baillie and Mary Smith, on 24 July 1862 at St. Peter's Church, Bedford, Bedfordshire, England.¹
     From 24 July 1862, her married name became Baillie.¹
